The Phoenix is hybrid grape bred in Germany and is known for producing excellent quality fruit. The grapes were harvested by hand in 2015, the juice was fermented in stainless steel vats and the wine was released in 2017.Poulton Hill Estate Phoenix is deceptively light in colour. The nose has fabulous elderberry and herbaceous hints reminiscent of a traditional French Sauvignon. This medium-bodied wine is packed full of flavour with notes of lychee, elderberry and gooseberry, followed by a refreshingly clean finish.Our Phoenix is a perfect accompaniment to fish, white meat and cheese. All our wines are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
