So what's a Qvevri? It's a Georgian wine making vessel. It is made from concrete and looks like a huge egg on legs. It is designed to give the wine more complexity and texture, similar to an oak barrel but without the oakiness. We naturally fermented this with airbourne London yeasts and blended it with a stainless steel, temperature regulated tank version we also created.
Aromatic, floral, zesty and complex. This is the king of English white wines varieties.
