Renegade London Pinot Noir
The fruit for our Pinot Noir was sourced from a beautiful winegrowing region in the North West of Italy. The vineyard is owned by a family who have been passionate grape growers and winemakers for generations. The sunny hillside vines are planted on a mixture of clay and limestone, are naturally low yielding, providing fruit with great concentration and flavour.
The grapes were handpicked then destemmed, spending a total of 24 days on skins before being pressed into used French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and ageing. We think the wine smells of wild dried herbs, blackberries and the forest floor. The palate showcases firm tannins, cocoa and a few spicy notes.
