Fresh sourdough, magnolia and lily scents mingle with a hint of smoke over a core of greengage, red plums and dessert apples. The palate is vivid, almost vibrantly crunchy with precise, structured acidity. The acidity in the wine cuts through and emphasises the fruity, zesty character of the wine. Excellent as an aperitif.

Famously this English sparkling wine caused a stir when it scored more points in a blind tasting than those from Pol Roger, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger!
