The Blanc de Blancs 2010 is the first release from part of the vineyard that is on the steepest slopes and rooted in the chalkiest soils. This English sparkling wine has been made from 100% Chardonnay and is aged in the cellars for up to six years. This English sparkling wine provides an elegant expression of fruit with a remarkable balance of freshness, minerality and flavour. With complex flavours of honey, truffle, firm white peach, crisp zesty lemon and danish pastry, this sparkling wine is wonderfully complex and has a long lasting finish too.
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
ABV: 12%
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
Serve with : Lobster, truffles, crab and other fine starter type dishes. Equally good on it's own.

The 2010 growing season was excellent for Digby's and the result is this fine vintage English sparkling wine. Delicate notes of apples and stone fruits with a wonderful biscuity finish. The five years of lees ageing has resulted in a rich and textured body that adds weight and dimension to this wonderful English sparkling wine. The vintage stamp ensures this is a year to remember and this wine is the perfect accompaniment to any special occasion. A wonderful example of an English sparkling wine.
