Roxanich produces natural wines from both indigenous and internationally recognized grape varieties, in line with the highest ecological standards. Grapes are cultivated using traditional methods with crop control and minimum intervention. This orange wine is named after the winemaker s wife, Ines, and is made from a blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino, Glera, Riesling Italico, Friulano, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. The nose displays intoxicating aromas of honeycomb, hay and white pepper as well as nutty hints which remind of the oxidative character of sherry wines. These carry through onto the palate where theyre joined by dried apricot, quince and caramel flavors. Thanks to the full-body, gentle tannins and intense flavor profile, this is a great wine to pair with a chicken stew, calamari or even octopus dishes.
