This chardonnay was harvested in mid October 2017, during a long dry autumn. It then went through fermentation in an oak followed my a secondary malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Tasting notes: apple, peach and tropical fruits and floral notes with a touch of vanillia and toasted oak in the background.
It was a great year with high levels of ripeness resulting in a super 14% alcohol wine that fills ones whole mouth.
It pares well with fresh seafood, roasted chicken, grilled pork and creamy cheeses
produced and bottled at the winery.
