Pale golden in colour, with vivid, fine bubbles, this wine has smoky, autolytic characters on the nose accompanied by hazelnut, kiwi fruit, pear and red apple fruit aromas. There is complexity and richness from aging on the lees with yeasty, brioche aromas and classic chardonnay notes of ripe green apple.
On the palate there is mouth-watering freshness with a creamy mousse and good flavour intensity. Red apple, mandarin and white grapefruit notes form the backbone of the wine. A fresh zesty acidity, rich mouthfeel and biscuit flavours on the palate deliver a long, dry, complex finish.
