About The Wine
The origins of a Coutet vineyard lie in 1643. Thomas Jefferson was a fan of the wine during his time as ambassador to France, calling Coutet "the best Sauternes of Barsac". In 1977 Coutet became the property of the Baly family from Alsace and in 1994 the owners signed a partnership deal with the Baron Philippe de Rothschild Company. Please be advised that deliveries outside mainland UK may incur additional charges.
