In Karst Refosco grapes are used to produce wonderful fresh red wine called Teran. Vine grows on limestone and clay soil dominated by terra rossa which is responsible for minerality and wonderful deep red color of this wine. It has spent 8 days macerating in inox, followed by a transfer to old oak barrels.
Teran wine was already documented in early Roman times when it was used as remedy know for it healthy qualities.
Enjoy with karst prosciutto or red meat dishes.
