Telish winery was built in the late 1960's but was a state-owned monopoly until recently, when it was bought in 1999 by Jair Agopian. His main focus is on producing new and complex quality wines. Telish winery can be considered as a leader of the new image of Bulgarian wines. Master Winemaker Michel Rolland is the exclusive consultant for this estate.
This Bulgarian Pinot Noir offers the nose black and red cherries and dried violets. It is well balanced in the mouth with soft, rounded tannins and flavours of dark cherry, cranberry and dried Mediterranean herbs.
To enjoy with prosciutto di Parma, oven roast salmon, beef salad and so many more.
A heavier style of pinot noir, still a very well made one, all to discover.
