The Capanna farm, owned by the Cencioni family since 1957, is situated in the Montosoli area, to the north of Montalcino. It was founded by Giuseppe Cencioni and, helped by his sons Benito and Franco, it was one of the first farms of the modern period of Brunello. The Capanna farm is still family run from both a farming and winemaking viewpoint.

Bright golden colour. The nose is intense with floral notes like acacia, and fruity aromas such as apricots, raisin and white peach. The wine is subtly sweet yet well balanced by a fresh acidity. This Moscadello is very elegant and complex with a long-lasting finish.

Dried pastry and sweets in general even those filled with custard and fruit, ice-creams.

Very versatile, perfect with dessert or creamy and blue cheese.
