The history of Guillopees begins in 1963, when some vine growers joined forces to face up the economic challenges of the time, creating a quality-focused co-operative cellar in the heart of Sancerre. It remains the only co-operative in the appellation, producing wines with all the classic minerality and poise for which the appellation is revered.
A rose of distinctive and pleasing character, bright and refreshing on the palate, with a delicate, slightly spicy nose.
To be served with light starters, salad and white meat - or with friends, in a park, on a warm summer's day.
As translucently pale as any Provencal rose, but with more flavour and an even more delicate texture.
