The 1964 Vega Sicilia Unico contains 35% of Bordeaux varieties. It has a lush bouquet with notes of wild strawberry, mandarin, lemon thyme and a faint hint of camphor mace. The taste is medium-bodied with rounded, fleshy tannins. It has a beautiful balance. There are beautiful tones of red and black fruit, leather, fresh figs. The tannins are already nicely fused but still offer a solid base. There are fresh citrus fruits on the finish that ensure that this famous Vega Sicilia from the famous year 1964 is still exuberant and lively. Drinking window now-2025. From this vintage we have received a number of bottles from the bodega where they have always been stored. Like all our wines, these are kept in excellent condition and you can of course get a photo of the bottle. The wine has received 96 Parker points. Bodegas Vega Sicilia is one of the absolute top ten in the wine world and has long been an icon of wine country Spain.
