The El Vinculo Crianza is a 100% pure Tempranillo. The EL Vinculo comes from organic vineyards that harvest only 20 hectoliters per hectare. The wine has had an 18 month upbringing in American and French new oak and after that it gets a minimum of 6 months bottle aging. The Vinculo is dark purple in the glass. In the nose we smell ripe fruit (cherries and strawberry), wood, minerals, vanilla. The taste is modern in style with smooth, clean black cherries, wild strawberry, vanilla and orange peel. It is very stylish and silky smooth to the finish. A very nice wine with an excellent price / quality ratio. The wine is now perfect to drink and has a drinking window up to 2025+

One of the many dreams of Alejandro Fernández (Pesquera, Condado de Haza, Dehesa La Granja) has also become reality. This leading genius wine man wanted to produce a great wine in La Mancha. During one of his travels he discovered good, old tempranillo vines that had adapted perfectly to the local climate conditions. If properly cared for, the tempranillo (cencibel) gives excellent results in La Mancha. A beautiful, typical building from La Mancha, near the windmills of Campo de Criptana and next to a railway station, was transformed into a modern winery. From the start, Alejandro Fernández had the goal of producing limited quantities of top quality wine. The name 'El Vínculo' is a tribute to the old family wine house in the Duero wine region. The climate in La Mancha is extremely continental with ice-cold winters (-15 ° C) and hot summers (+ 45 ° C). The direct exposure to the sun's rays is huge: no fewer than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year! The mountains around the entire region block most of the precipitation. No more than 300-400 mm falls here every year, and long periods of drought are a nuisance to normal viticulture. The use of carefully dosed drip irrigation is therefore necessary to be able to harvest top-quality grapes here.
