The Spanish top wine produced by Eguren. Alabaster is expected to become Termanthia's successor (the EGUREN family sold Termanthia to Moet & Chandon in 2007 and started a new project in the same year: Bodegas Teso la Monja).
The EGUREN family consistently continues its tradition of care and quality. The grapes are only picked by hand and collected in small boxes to prevent damage. The yield is only 9hl / ha. Aged for 18 months on French oak. Harvested exclusively from vines aged 65-100 years from the pre-phylloxera period. Full aromatic wine. Plums, black currants, cherries, minerals, a hint of mocha and beautiful tannins and a grand finale. This wine has enormous potential.
Volume 2013 received the highest score in Guia Penin 2016: 98 points!
The Spanish winery Teso La Monja is an exclusive winery and is one of the beautiful wineries of Hermanos Eguren.
