This is really one of our toppers from Burgundy! And another gem from top wine house Olivier Guyot . This powerful, very balanced Marsannay La Montagne Cuvée Prestige is intense on the nose with beautiful aromas of red berries and cherries. Then in the mouth a great taste experience with beautiful ripe cherries and raspberry. This wine is robust, expressive, firm in structure and perfectly balanced. The aging in wooden barrels provides a nice wood tone that makes the already wonderfully long finish of this wine even more pleasant.

This beautiful wine comes into its own in combination with grilled meat and game dishes. Ideal drinking temperature is 16 degrees.

Most vineyards & the home of winery Olivier Guyot are situated in Marsannay ( Burgundy ). The winery works biodynamically and is certified organic. Instead of using chemical weed killers, the soil is plowed - with its own horse Indigo - to enrich it. As a result, the microbial life of the vineyards has increased enormously and the grapes always ripen earlier. Flowering buds are systemically removed to produce better quality grapes (extreme focus on quality over quantity). The grape harvest on the Guyot vineyards is only carried out by hand. The pickers are very selective and a second selection is made in the winery to ensure that only the best grapes are used. Olivier Guyot has two starting points: to preserve the natural balance of the vine and respect the diversity of each terroir. The wines of this wine his are rich, pure with lots of finesse and beautiful fruit.
