The Puntido vineyard is owned by the Eguren family and the puntido comes from only 1 vineyard where only the Tempranillo grape is grown. The vineyard is almost 40 years old and is quite high A solid, well-balanced red wine. Can be drunk but will get better and better as the years pass and can certainly be imposed until 2026. The wine is raised for 18 months on Frans Eiken and then receives bottle feeding for a number of years before the wine comes on the market. This Rioja has an expressive nose of grilled bread, black cherries and berries. The 2013 Vinedos de Paganos Puntido comes in a unique version of 1.5 liters (magnum).
