Bodegas Ignios is without a doubt the top bodega on Tenerife. Very interesting wines are made on this Canary Island. Higher vineyards and the Atlantic Ocean provide healthy, fresh wines. The aim of the young winery Ignios is to emphasize the value of the Canarian indigenous varieties and this is clearly reflected in the surprising and delicious mono-variety Listan Negro. The grapes come from a small vineyard located at high altitude. The composition of the soil is sandy loam with an east / western orientation, so the sun is present almost all day long and due to the height also a slight influence of the trade winds. It is fermented in stainless steel and aged in 500 and 600 liter barrels for 12 months. Around 3,000 bottles were filled unfiltered in October 2016.

The nose of the Ignios Listán Negro Vendimia Seleccionada has subtle aromas of ripe red and black fruit, floral notes with mint and balsamic vinegar, accompanied by warm spices and perfectly integrated hardwood. The taste is just as lively as in the nose, with great potential, expressive, tasty and fresh with a salty tone of the Atlantic.
