Bodegas Cepa 21 is one of the most renowned wine producers in Ribera del Duero. The Moro family, along with some of his best friends, were the makers of this great winery. This is characterized by the unification of traditional traditions and the addition of modern techniques. All this ensures great quality modern wines
Cepa 21 wines are aimed at the type of consumer who is open to new sensations and open to subtle new discoveries. The elegance of a wine in the mouth is fruit and aromatic. In short, it is a clear expression of the wine revolution that is taking place in Spain.
The topper of the Bodega is Malabrigo and is aged for 21 months in French oak barrels. The wine has an intense cherry red color, the wine is powerful and has an elegant nose, with notes of black fruit such as jam, blueberries and blackberries. This is supplemented with spicy roasted oak and more noble. The taste is round with strong and structured tannins. Absolutely a sensation and despite the fact that this wine is already in the higher price range, we have found in (blind) tastings that this wine can compete without any problem with wines that cost twice or more.
The wine has been voted the 6th best wine in Spain.
