The 2015 Pichon Baron is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot picked between September 18 and October 9. The wine has an extremely pure bouquet with black currants, blueberries and graphite aromas with a very nicely defined oak tone that blends seamlessly with the fruit. The taste is medium-bodied with very fine tannins. The wine is disarming and completely harmonious with a stunning mineral body. According to the Wine Advocate, the most sensual Pichon Baron ever had on the tasting table. The wine unfolds gently in the mouth and leaves with a huge persistent aftertaste that stimulates the senses. This is one of the most beautiful vintages of Château Pichon Longueville Baron and has an amazing drinking window until 2050+
