A characteristic that distinguishes Tentenublo is the special situation of the 7 hectares of vineyards, spread over 19 plots located between Viñaspre and Lanciego, one of the lesser-known areas of the Rioja region. The incredible diversity of these plots suffered from the various wines that Tenteublo produces, which in all cases involve very small unique plots, so the final production is only a handful of very unique and fantastic Rioja wines.
Bodega Tentenublo is one of the absolute new style Rioja makers. Made from a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha supplemented with a very small amount of malveisia and viura. The vineyards are all between 40 and 100 years old and people worked with minimal intervention and tillage.
The Tentenublo Tinto is a sensation of fresh fruit. The wine was raised on French oak for 10 months. In the nose we smell ripe black fruit with balsamic hues. It is a lively wine, uninhibited and informal. Great to enjoy with a group of friends.
