Full red wine. Red fruit, cocoa, a hint of spices, minerals, ripe tannins and a fantastic aftertaste. Only limited available but an absolute collectors item.

Without a doubt one of Spain's most famous winemakers. Peter Sisseck, of Danish origin, came to the Ribera del Duero as an oenologist in the mid-90s. He had his training with the innovators from Bordeaux (the so-called "vins de garage") and knew better than anyone the potential of the Tinto Fino grape in this region. For a long time Peter Sisseck vinified with his friend Pedro Cuadrado from Finca Villacreces - and until 2003 the grapes for the Flor de Pingus also came from this domain. He has recently built his own installations, not so far from Villacreces in Quintanilla.

Pingus is a cult wine that is vinified to a very limited extent. The first volume was vinified at the Villacreces domain in the 90s. Very deep in color, almost ink black. Complex, closed, after some rolling, the bouquet blooms open and gives both concentrated fruit impressions of cherries and red currants. Vanilla touch in the background, leather and fleeting tannins of his youthfulness. The totality of the scents is supported by responsible barrel maturing. Juicy, tasteful. No less than 98-100 Parker points for the 2016!
