Emilio Moro from Ribera de Duero in the heart of the DO is seen by the other top producers as one of the emerging new stars in the area. With 70 hectares of Tinto Fino from old native clones, Emilio moro produces wines that excel in purity, elegance and complexity.
While you wait for the 'great' wines of Moro to reach their peak, you can already fully enjoy this fruity, youthful Tempranillo from Emilio Moro. The Finca Resalso comes from the (relatively) younger vines. In the glass, the wine has a cherry red color with purple hues. The smell and intensity of the wine stimulate the senses in the nose. Pure fruit enjoyment from strawberries, cherries, raspberry licorice and black forest fruits. The Finca Resalso is lively, with a spicy touch and just enough structure due to the 4 months lagering on French barriques. It is a very nice wine with a well-developed structure that makes it very pleasant to drink. The Resalso has an excellent price-quality ratio. This is a great wine with steaks, hamburgers, stews and the better charcuterie. In the April edition of Hubrecht Duijker , the Finca Resalso by Emilio Moro receives a rave review and the designation 'Recommended'.

Wine is like a living creature that you must understand and care for "is a statement by Emilio Moro after which a large winery within Ribera del Duero was named. The contemporary cellar, which replaced the old one in 2001, is located in the hamlet of Pesquera de Duero, 198 kilometers north of Madrid. Emilio's grandsons, Javier and José, are in charge and have a consistent quality policy. The grapes, all tinto fino (a regional variant of tempranillo) come from over 200 hectares at heights of 750 to 1000 meters. The youngest wine, which received barrel rest for four months, is called Finca Resalso. Of which the precious2014 seduces with thick black fruit, including that of cassis, hints of liquorice and laurel, a pinch of spices and a lot of controlled wood.
