The Melior Verdejo is a cool and elegant wine. It has a pale straw yellow color with greenish hues and is a clean wine that stands out for its clarity. The aromas are intense and elegant; fruity aromas with notes of white flowers, hay and fresh grass. In the mouth the Melior Medium is bodied and is in perfect harmony with the acidity that gives the wine a pleasant freshness with a soft bitterness in the aftertaste.

The Melior Verdejo comes Finca La Moja and Finca Matalamoza located in Valdestillas. They harvest a maximum of 5000 kg per HA (allowed is almost double) and this actually says everything about Matarromera. Quality over quantity in every price segment.

The Melior winery is part of the Gruppo Matarromera and is best known for its Value for Money. So an excellent wine made at a very interesting price with the vision of Matarromera. At Melior, as a 100% part of Matarromera, the same principles apply to sustainabaility, so here too the wine company with windmills, biomass and solar panels generates more energy than it consumes. Melior has vineyards in the Rueda where they make the beautiful Verdejos and Sauvignon Blanc and a vineyard in the Ribera del Duero for the red Tempranillo version.
