The Conde de Haro Brut comes from the cellar of Bodegas Muga, one of the most prominent wineries in Haro-Rioja and one of the few Spanish wineries that makes its own barriques. This cava is a blend of the Viura (90%) and Malvasia (10%) grape varieties from vineyards located in the highest part of the Rioja with slopes on the north. One of the reasons why they chose this location and orientation of the vineyards is to protect the vineyards from the heat that greatly benefits the aromatic properties of the grape of certainly the Viura

This beautiful Cava made following traditionelle has citrus fruit and flowers in the nose with after some more air also yeast tones with little honey and vanilla (based on the 14 months wood aging). The palate is creamy but at the same time fresh thanks to the beautiful acidity. The combination of fruit / acidity / fine wine nut creates a surprising feeling of fullness in the mouth that invites you to continue tasting. In the aftertaste, the fruit returns with some spices and a very good perlage.
