The Gran Barquero Pedro Ximenez comes for 100% of the Pedro Ximenez grape from the Albarizas vineyards located in the Sierra de Montilla and Moriles Altos and has been raised on American oak trees for 8-10 years. The nose is very typical of this style, dominated by raisins and dried figs, espresso with a warm, velvety palate, ending with a spicy curry note. The wine has a sweet tone with a dense, warm, powerful structure. A very nice sherry that comes into its own when cooled. It is an excellent dessert wine (or a dessert in itself).
