This is unusal for a Prosecco, in that it is made in a Brut style (actually drier than the more widespread 'extra dry' Prosecco style). How does Ruggeri do this? By making this wine exclusively from some of Valdobbiadene's finest vineyards, what it lacks in sweetness is more than made up for by honest intensity of fruit. This has fabulously concentrated nectarine and apricot fruit character, which lingers on the palate far longer than does a 'typical' Prosecco. With its creamy mousse of miniscule bubbles, this is an absolute joy to drink - we can't recommend it highly enough!
