Gary Mills, one of the first new-wave Australian winemakers, began his Jamsheed label in 2003 with a focus on single vineyard Syrahs and aromatic whites from different sites in Victoria.

Viticulture is biological - he uses some biodynamic and organic practices where he sees empirical benefits, and no systemic pesticides or fungicides.

Gary sources Syrah from three different vineyards in the Coldstream region for this smooth, deep purple, highly perfumed wine with cassis, candied violets and black cherries. Smooth and rich on the palate with black fruit and a touch of sweet spice.
