Produced at the historic Glengyle Distillery in Campbelltown, one of only three working distilleries left in the region. Glengyle was closed in 1925 and reopened by J.A Mitchells, owners of Springbank Distillery over 75 years later. This Cask Strength 8 year old is a bold and limited release. Notes of peat are instantly noticeable, lingering with green apples and sweet vanilla on the nose. To taste this is classic Campbelltown, earthy, salty and rich. Combined with a nutty sweetness it is a fantastic dram, leaving peat on the finish along with a malty note which calls for another sip.
