Our first Bacchus is a wine to be excited about. The grapes are German in origin and are named after the Roman God of wine who was known for his dedicated and exuberant followers. Poulton Hill Estate harvested the grapes by hand in 2016 and the wine was released in 2017.The Poulton Hill Estate Bacchus has an elegant light gold appearance with notes of elderflower and ripe peach on the nose. There is grapefruit at the forefront of the palate with hints of lychee giving it a long, clean, crisp finish. It is a wonderfully well-balanced wine to be enjoyed on its own or with seafood, white meat and Thai cuisine. All our wines are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
