Virgin soils, a frontier wine region, and a stellar team. Okanagan Crush Pad was founded in the eponymous Canadian valley in 2011 by Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie, a shared facility for small farmers and winemakers, as well as home to their own growing range of organic & biodynamic wines.

Secrest Mountain Vineyard is as its name suggests up a mountain, in fact 487 metres above sea level. Farmed organically by the Wise brothers, Dave & Brad, vines are planted on alluvial, gravel, loam and limestone soils. This Gamay was naturally fermented in concrete, punched down twice daily. Wine then chilled out for 11 months in big concrete eggs. No racking or filtering. Feel the strawberries and raspberries joshing for your attention on top of the creamy, silky smooth palate and gentle tannins. This stuff goes on and on and on.
