The nose exhibits aromas of black cherry, truffle and chocolate. The palate is concentrated and full, with a dense core of rich fruit, alongside savoury spice and herbal notes, all underpinned by silky-fine and mouth coating tannins. Long on the finish, with a cleansing acidity, this is a poised yet powerful wine.
The hand-print is a symbol of Seresin's philosophy to work traditionally and with nature to create wines. The fruit comes mostly from the clay-rich hillside Raupo Creek vineyard in the Omaka Valley, with a tiny amount also from the alluvial shingles of the Tatou vineyard, which is made up of Waimakariri type soils of alluvial origin. Seresin Estate's vineyards are farmed biodynamically and are certified by Demeter.

About Seresin Estate
Founded in 1992 by cinematographer Michael Seresin, Seresin Estate is farmed organically and operates under biodynamic principals. Seresin Estate encompasses not only the vines and olive groves, but also pasture land, livestock, vegetable gardens and orchards, as well as native vegetation. Seresin Estate is a new world winery with an old world approach. Organically and biodynamically grown, hand-tendered and hand-picked, the grapes are hand-made into wines of passion, grace and spirit.
