A classic Bordeaux style blend from the Wildekrans wine farm in Hermanus in South Africa. Bright red berries with a subtle floral fragrance followed by distinct notes of pencil shavings and sweet tobacco. A medium bodied wine blended in near equal proportions. The Cabernet Franc providing structure and quintessential raspberry freshness, while Merlot softens and rounds off the palate with juicy red plums and cherries.

The 1000 hectare Wildekrans estate is situated in the heart of the fertile Botriver valley in the Western Cape, approximately 30km from the world-renowned whale watching town of Hermanus. The estate is best known for producing premium wine and the wine making philosophy is the belief that the great wines begin in the vineyard. The wine making process similarly adheres to principles of low intervention, with a focus on capturing and retaining the essence of wine and terroir.
