Chassagne-Montrachet is one of the most prestigious village appellations of the Côte de Beaune, alongside Puligny and Meursault. The grapes here come from old Chardonnay vines planted on a plot called "Les Gougeonnes" and have been aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The result is a round, mineral and buttery wine, combining aromas of white fruit, flower vanilla and toast. The finish is lovely and long with light spicy notes. A great wine for any type of seafood!
