Château Montana is a family estate of 30 hectares in Banyuls-dels-Aspres, just South of Perpignan, that was created in the 1890’s and entirely restructured in 1996. The vineyard has been in sustainable farming practices for years and is now certified of “High Environmental Value” for its respect of all environmental aspect of winemaking. Silencio is a medium to full-bodied wine, rich, elegant and with great concentration. The complex nose is marked by ripe red fruit aromas and a minty touch. On the palate, it has terrific aromatics of dark fruit, peppery meat and earth - lots of Syrah character. Drink now or keep for a few years.
