Winebuyers Help: Delivery and FAQs
COVID-19 SERVICE UPDATE
Due to unprecedented circumstances our delivery partners are experiencing higher than usual volumes of traffic within their networks which may cause delays to the processing of some orders. Every customer is important to us and we are working around the clock to make sure all orders are processed and fulfilled as usual but ask for your patience and support during these challenging times.
1-How does Winebuyers work?
Winebuyers in an online members wine and champagne club.
We connect our members directly to the vineyards, producers and wine merchants that are listed on our platform. Membership is free to customers who wish to buy from our platform.
All prices reflect the supplier’s prices which we do not mark up.
You can always be confident that you will pay exactly the same price as you would from the source.
Bottles on offer and stock levels are automatically updated daily, meaning that every time you visit the Winebuyers shop you will always find something new!
We don’t take commission from our suppliers meaning that you have full transparency on what you are paying for your wines. Our suppliers pay a subscription to be part of the Winebuyers platform.
Suppliers then arrange delivery directly to your door. Delivery charges and delivery territories are defined by the supplier.
Our members services operate by phone and by instant chat within UK working hours (9am - 5.30pm GMT) and by email seven days a week.

We have a wine educator and sommelier in-house who are available to answer questions in English, French and Spanish. Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm UK time.
3-Searching on Winebuyers
How do I search for wines on Winebuyers?
The search bar is the easiest and fastest way. If you know what you’re looking for you can conveniently find your favourite wines via the the search bar. After having searched for with any keywords you can further refine the search results by using the filters.
Shop page filters and sorting
The shop page page offers various filter options. Filter according to region, country, grape, price range and even food pairing recommendations from the vineyards themselves so you know you’re getting the best advice possible. The search results list can also be sorted by high to low, and by bottle or case. A filter for wine accessories is also available.
Chat with our knowledgeable Winebuyers team on live chat who can help you find what you’re looking for and answer any questions you may have. Live chat is available between 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Any questions outside of this time will be answered immediately next working day.
4-Delivery & Returns
How are shipping costs and methods set?
Shipping costs and methods are set by the different suppliers listed on the Winebuyers, and therefore vary. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
Once you have set your shipping country in the top left hand corner of the website the shipping methods available to you will be displayed on each product page.
Once your order has been placed shipping will be arranged as per the selected method at checkout.

What shipping options can I choose? How long does delivery take?
Shipping options are available as Express UK, Standard UK, EU deliveries and Worldwide deliveries. As a UK based company, all suppliers are required to deliver to the UK. Not all suppliers deliver internationally, please contact the team on chat if you are unsure.
Delivery will be arranged to the delivery location within the time frames and standards as laid out below.
Domestic shipment (United Kingdom)
Express delivery mainland UK
Delivery will be arranged to be shipped to you within 1 Business Day of the Dispatch Date. Express delivery is not available for deliveries to Scottish Isles, UK Offshore Isles or Northern Ireland. If this option is available, it will appear at checkout.
Standard delivery UK
The Supplier will arrange for the delivery of the Products to you within 2 to 5 Business Days of the Dispatch Date. Ordering to the Scottish Isles, UK Offshore Isles and Northern Ireland may incur an extra cost. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries.
Click & Collect orders
In order to prevent missed deliveries, Winebuyers have introduced an option where customers can opt to send their parcels to a collection point that is local and convenient for them. With more than 6,000 registered collection points around the UK, click & collect is the perfect service for customers who are unable to accept delivery at home.
This service is available upon checkout. You would just need to pick the collection point that is closest to you. Once your parcel is ready for collection, you will receive a collection code by email.
Please note that your collection point will only be able to store your parcel for 2 weeks. For large amounts of bottles, please contact email@example.com
European Union delivery
In respect of Orders to be delivered to the EU, the Supplier will arrange for the delivery of the Products to the Customer within 3 to 12 Business Days of the Dispatch Date. If a supplier does not deliver to your country then shipping options will not be available to you on the product pages.
In respect of Orders to be delivered to all other countries, the Supplier shall arrange for the delivery of Products to the Customer between 8 to 10 Business Days of the Dispatch Date. If a supplier does not deliver to your country then shipping options will not be available to you on the product pages.
Please note that due to strict import laws we currently do not ship to the USA.
Why have my purchases been delivered in separate packages?
If orders are placed from separate suppliers then they will arrive in different packages. Shipping companies may also vary. For queries on delivery timelines contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org
What if I am not in when you deliver?
Please leave instructions at checkout if you would like your wine left in a safe place if you’re not in. If no instructions are left you will be notified of the attempted delivery by the courier service so that you can rearrange.
Am I insured against shipping damages or theft?
Suppliers are contractually required to insure and track items out for delivery. If your package arrives damaged or is incorrect please contact the Winebuyers customer service team over email or phone who will be happy to help with any queries.
