Based in the tiny hamlet of Chateau Thebaud are the wonderful vineyards of Domaine de la Noe. Owned and cultivated by the Drouard brothers, their Muscadets offer the very best of this most classic of Loire wines.
There is a real intensity to the fruit on the nose here. This is a fine and flavoursome wine boasting some spice, cream, honey and citrus fruit. The palate is harmonious with a certain amount of minerality. The quality of this vintage benefits from the low yields of 2012, giving real concentration and fullness. An ideal accompaniment to sea food, fish, salads, poultry and unpasturized cheese.
However, nicely chilled, it slips down easily at any time!
