This Sparkling wine has enticing apple, pear and peach aromas, together with a light floweriness. This wine has a light-medium body and a lovely, creamy, smooth finish a great pre-dinner drink, excellent for celebrations and parties and perfect with shellfish and seafood. Limoux is a small town and appellation in the eastern Pyrenean foothills. This sparkling wine has been made with an unusual local grape called Mauzac, blended with a good dose of Chardonnay. The wine spends at least nine months on its lees to develop beautiful toasty overtones.
