Deep gold colour, opulent nose with honey and apricot jam. Silky texture on palate, a creamy and mouth-filling wine which is at the same time easy-drinking as very low in alcohol. Notes of figs, honey and sweet spice, followed by a long finish.
This Aszú is the ultimate dessert wine, perfect on its own or served with cakes and patisserie, especially fruit cakes. But we highly recommend trying it with savoury dishes, and not only the classic pairings of goose liver or blue cheese, but also with spicy Asian dishes or creamy risottos.

Recipe Ideas
The ripe and juicy berries with their natural sweetness are balanced beautifully by the acidity of the fragrant balsamic vinegar and the tartness of the yoghurt, creating a light dessert and a delightful treat that is refreshing and indulgent in equal measure.
This simple recipe makes for a quick wholesome dinner, ideal for coeliacs and lovers of oriental flavours. Just make sure that you keep an eye out for fridge raiders if you decide to take the leftovers into the office the next day.
