A deep garnet colour in the glass, the nose offers ripe and complex flavours of berry, cherry and clove. Rich and full-bodied in the mouth, it offers layers of chocolate, licorice and red fruits. French and American oak aging give just a hint of toasty vanilla sweetness and a lingering finish.

Food pairing: Serve slightly chilled with barbequed chicken or ribs, brisket or spicy foods.
