Velvety fruit driven Agiorgitiko from high altitude vineyards overlooking the Gulf of Cornith
Family owned Kintonis Winery works steadily and faithfully for many years with selected vineyards and innovative wine growers in the area of Aigialeia. The slopes extend to the northern side of Peloponnese with a northern exposure.
The altitude of the vineyards varies from 500 to 1050 m and infuses the desired acidity to the produced wines. Due to its northern exposure, the area is very aptly called "Corinthian Balcony". The mild climate of the region is due to the existence of gorges with rich natural vegetation and small rivers flowing into the sea. Rainfalls are quite common and there is a significant day-to-night temperature difference, especially during the summer months, resulting in a mild grape maturity.
Tasting Note: Pale violet in color with fragrances of red fruits, black cherries, blackberries and plums in the nose. Light body in mouth with pleasant acidity, ribbed and mild tannins and velvet aftertaste of cherry tart.
