About The Wine
Today the BSB vineyard amounts to 20 hectares, but it has had a chequered history. Once part of the larger Beau-Séjour estate succession led to it being divided between two children. One married a M Duffau-Lagarosse and that surname was duly appended to that estate. The other half was purchased in 1924 by Doctor Jean Fagouet, becoming Beau-Séjour-Fagouet. Michel Becot, whose family had lived in the area since the 18th century, bought up bits and pieces of BSF to add to his owned property, Château La Carte, eventually changing its name to BSB. This year (2018) Michel Rolland retires from consulting at BSB after many years, with Thomas Duclos chosen as his successor. (PLEASE NOTE: This is a part case - six bottles remaining from a case of 12) Please be advised that deliveries outside mainland UK may incur additional charges.
