The name derives from the greek and means oak.
It is a dry red wine produced by Nero dAvola vines whose grapes, carefully selected, nurtured by the fertile land and lulled by the mild climate of Sicily, refined for 12 months in special oak barrels Allier, give it a soft texture, elegant tannins and intense aromas of blackberries.
A characteristic ruby red, the nose come fruity bouquet and hints of vanilla and liquorice. In the mouth a slight hint of herbs accompanies the velvety taste, enriched by reading notes of toasting.
