Kersbrook is on northern end of the Adelaide Hills where the climate is warmer and there is less rainfall than other areas of the Hills. The vineyard is situated at approximately 480 metres above sea level and has some very high sloped areas, with the Fiano planted on an eastern aspect. The vines are over 19 years old and are grown in shallow soils, which have a lot of iron stone through the soil profile. The warm climate is influenced by cooling breezes from the ocean less than 11 miles away. Sheep graze around the vineyard, thus reducing the need for herbicides, machinery use and consequently emissions.
