Tasting Notes
When we decided to take our finest lots of Syrah and age them for an extended period in fine new French oak barrels. The resulting wine represents the most decadent expression of Syrah in our cellar, with aromas of blackberry and anise, all wrapped in layers of olive, plum and lots of oak.
We recommend serving it with rich foods that will stand up to the wine’s complexity: grilled steaks, barbeque, rich cheeses, and of course, friends!
