This wine is something of a rarity being made from the Tannat grape variety. Cuvee Vitis MCM has been made from vines planted in 1900 and harvested by hand, aged for 12 months in 80% new oak barrels with a further 6 months in bottle. A deep and structured wine, inky black with chewy tannins and flavours of dried blue berries, cinnamon and liquorice. Needs to be pair with rich, robust foods such as game, Tournedos rossini or magret de canard.
