Producer Details In 2002, the year he set up Bodegas Juan Gil, Miguel Gil also co-founded one of the most ambitious quality wine projects in southern Spain, El Nido. With Australian winemaker Chris Ringland (ex-Rockford and producer of acclaimed old vine Barossa Shiraz) Miguel established a tiny winery next to Juan Gil to produce just 2,000 cases from the best low yielding plots in the area.
