La Tour Melas is young and dynamic winery who create well made, textural and interesting wines in Achinos. Practising biodynamic and organic techniques, Kyros Melas planted his 11ha of vineyards with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot vines imported from his estate in France. The vines are hand picked, then made with as little intervention as possible using an underground gravity flow winery. Each wine is also hand bottled to finish this truly artisanal process. Tasting Note A wonderfully crisp, delicate rosé with hints of red berries, grapefruit and a crisp minerality combine with a refreshing acidity perfectly.
