Organically produced low yielding Primitivo grapes are used in this wine from Puglia. A portion of these grapes are dried (appassimento) following the harvest to concentrate the aromas and rich fruit flavours. It has a complex bouquet of cherries, raspberries and red currants with toasted oak and spice. The palate is full-bodied with dark fruits and baked soil. Perfect with roast meats, Bb q's and mature cheese.
